Recently, in an effort to share, encourage, and support children in mountainous areas affected by natural disasters, the Insurance Supervisory Authority – Ministry of Finance, the National Children’s Hospital, BIDV Insurance Corporation (BIC), and several other insurance companies jointly organized a program to provide free medical check-ups, medicine distribution, and gift-giving for students in Huoi Mot Commune, Son La Province.

In addition to offering medical consultations and distributing gifts and medicine to over 600 preschool children, the volunteer delegation also donated meaningful items including: 03 computer rooms, nearly 400 sets of student desks and chairs, 1,000 winter jackets, and other gifts such as scholarships, bicycles, stuffed animals, and school supplies. The total value of the donated items was approximately VND 1.2 billion, contributed and mobilized by participating enterprises.

BIC’s active participation in the program not only demonstrates the company’s social responsibility as an insurance enterprise, but also spreads a spirit of compassion, contributing to the health and future of children in remote areas. This is not merely a charitable activity, but a testament to BIC’s long-term commitment to accompanying communities, especially vulnerable groups such as children and ethnic minorities in disadvantaged regions.
